The Gear

 We are making both electrical and mechanical changes to electric boards in order to give adaptive athletes a ride consistent with the feel and capabilities of a stand up, downhill skateboarder. Our design will be as interchangeable with market skateboard gear as possible, so adaptive athletes may have the fun and inclusion of buying the same gear as non-adaptive skateboarders.  

 We are turning our custom streetluge design into one that is modular and more portable, as to make it accessible to more disabled people. Again, we will make it as interchangeable with market skateboard gear as possible. This not only empowers the disabled athlete, but it helps grow the longboard industry as a whole by tapping into a new market of athletes. .

 At Downhill Revival, we want to serve people with all forms of disability. We recognize that to do this, we will need to grow our mission to include goals such as training sight-guides and adding visual start line cues. Our hope is that, with time and funding, we may evolve to serve folks with all forms of disabilities in the longboard industry.
